With over 20+ years of computer experience, software installation is a serious thing.  Software installation is very important. By providing you with the disk, you can uninstall or update the product as needed.  If your machine needs to reinstall the software, you will need the original install disks, so keep them in a safe place.

I have rebuilt computers and laptops without original disks, but this takes many hours, if not days searching the internet for drivers.
